CIVIL SERVICE

FINGERPRINTING
*LiveScan is an electronic fingerprint collection method wherein fingerprints are digitally scanned and electronic images are created. We no longer provide traditional ink fingerprinting services.
The Richardson County Sheriff's Office provides fingerprinting services to the public. Costs for fingerprinting services are $25.00 per 2 cards. Please call in advance to schedule an appointment.
FIREARM PURCHASE PERMIT
Firearm Purchase Permits are available to Richardson County residents (Please note: If you live in the City of Falls City you must go to the Falls City Police Dept.) at a cost of $5.00. Permits may be filled out at the sheriff's office Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Please note you may have to wait up to 3 days for your permit.
TITLE INSPECTIONS
The Richardson County Sheriff's Office provides title inspections on and offsite. Title Inspections are also available at the County Treasurers Office. Fees for title inspections are assessed by the treasurer at the time of registration.
